It was never a pre-requisite of employment at Lawson Photographic that applicants should be genetic mutations or criminally eccentric. It just happened that way. Or perhaps everyone was "normal" when they started there and the photographic chemicals caused some kind of mental instability. I guess it would have been safer not to drink them. All traces of Lawson Photographic have now gone and all the old staff members have had corrective therapy and have rejoined society (with at least one exception). |

Stamford normally has several bands going at any one time. Most of the successful ones have enjoyed Martin Smith as a member. This may be coincidence or testament to the magnitude of his awesome talent. Respect is also due to Steve Andrews who has organized many smart gigs over the years including RDF, Back To The Planet, Senser and Chumbawumba. The last big musical news was Midget who moved to the national and then international music scene with a huge record contract to match their obvious huge talent. Shortly after their fourth album was released, they all lost interest and seperated to pursue new careers. For a while there, Stamford was famous for something other than Daniel Lambert and Middlemarch. |
